A Couple Days Behind

We leave Florida to come home tomorrow (Wednesday) evening and I've been a little behind in posting on the family blog. Needless to say, we've been busy, but I'm working on catching up right now. Let's start with this past Saturday. My cousin, Casey came to visit for the weekend along with her boyfriend, Brian and their dog, Nala. Kinzie and Nala got along great!

Before heading out for an afternoon of shopping at Downtown Disney, Kinzie got a nice bubble bath in Grandpop and Mimi's jacuzzi bathtub.

It was a lot of fun!

There was lots to do at Downtown Disney and lots of pictures to be taken. Here is Kinzie with Casey and Brian and Donald and Daisy Duck.
... and Cinderella....

... and the Pirates!

Downtown Disney houses the biggest Disney Store in the country and there was lots to see and play with.

There was also a Lego store with lots of cool displays, including this tourist family outside.

We made one big purchase for Mackinzie at the big Downtown Disney store. This Cinderella castle playset came with lots of little Disney princesses and other characters to play with, along with lots of little accessories. I've got to admit that its pretty cool and it keeps her very busy. She loves it!

We didn't take any pictures on Sunday, so you'll just have to imagine what these activities looked like:
- We drove to the Vistana resort in Orlando to visit the Armstrong clan and spend the day swimming at their "super pool"
- Kinzie is a great swimmer! She now swims on her own, holding on to a noodle. She swam the whole length of the pool without mommy or daddy having to hold on to her.
- Kinzie took a great nap in the Armstrong's condo before the whole crew, including Casey and Brian, went out to dinner at TGI Fridays. Everyone had a great time!
By that time it was dark out and time to go home. Casey and Brian drove back to Tampa that night and Laura and I topped off the night with a game of cards against my mom and dad.
That gets us to Monday (yesterday) and we went to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM Studios). We took lots of pictures and lots of cool stuff happened, but that blog post will have to wait till later. Check back again soon!
