Three Days: More Baseball

Its July. We're right in the middle of the baseball season, so far be it for us to post back-to-back sports-related blogs. Last night, the three of us, along with my brother Will and his financee, Brittany, headed down to Oriole Park at Camden Yards to catch the O's game. While we were there, we got the Oriole Bird to help us countdown:

It was George Sherrill t-shirt night. The Orioles had lost their previous two games because Sherrill, the closing pitcher, blew both save opportunities. Needless to say, he wasn't the most popular guy in town on the night that almost everyone in the stadium would be wearing a replica of his jersey. However, the Orioles were able to maintain a lead over the Kansas City Royals all night and Sherill came in the game with one out in the bottom of the ninth and earned his 27th save and the support of the fans again! I really like George Sherrill myself, despite the blown saves recently. He's still one of the top closers in the American League. .... I could ramble on and on about the Orioles, but let's move on to a few more pictures.

Before we found the Oriole Bird last night, we had a couple other shots at using our 3 Days sign.
Sharon gave us our tickets for the game and she met us at the gate. Thanks again, Sharon!!

Our seats were right behind home plate... about 8-10 rows back.

Here is Kinzie showing off her George Sherrill shirt... which will be going to Uncle Matt.

This was our reaction to Brian Roberts' solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning that put us up 7-3.

BTW: the final scored ended up being Orioles over Royals 7-5

Here is our whole group at the end of the game. It was a great night! Three days to go!!
