Four Days: Five Innings

So I ended up having just two softball games, rather than four, last night. The umpire kept threatening to call the second game after just two-and-a-half innings because of the rain, but then the rain stopped... so he decided he was going to call it because of darkness, but then the sun started shining brightly. It was pretty ridiculous. We could have definitely played for another half-hour or so, except for we lost in the bottom of the fifth inning because of the 10-run slaughter rule. After the game, we gathered up the team to help us countdown:From left to right: Chris Walbert, Dave Kelley, Dan Deming, Jared Pfeifer, Me, Mike Maiste, Mike Thompson, Brian McNeive, Mark Weaver, Dustin Pfeifer, Mike McNeive, & Craig Armstrong.
I'm going to miss our games next week because Laura and I will be on our honeymoon in Punta Cana. I will also miss a few more games after that because of a couple vacations we're going on throughout July into August. (... just wanted to make you aware of that now, Mike)
